China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association is one of national first-class in China. It was approved by the Ministry of Civil Administration of China. Under the instruction of State Economics & Trade Commission PRC and China Agricultural Ministry, it is becoming more and more important to the Chinese agricultural companies and farmers to develop their business both at home and abroad. Its members are agricultural machinery manufacture and distribution companies, famous agricultural machinery institutes, colleges and so on. So far, the total of the members is more than 2400 all over the country, and the sale spots are more than 15,000 covered in villages and towns all over China. It is the most authoritative association in the agricultural machinery distribut ion field.

Target

    The target of China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association is to manage the whole agricultural machinery field for the Government, protect the profits of the members, develop the communion and cooperation with the international organization in the same field, develop the economy of this field, activate the rural economy and help the countryside modernize itself.

Function

    The function of China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association:
    To investigate and study the strategic questions about agricultural machinery, report it to the departments of the government, advance the suggestions such as the policy and laws of the units in this field to the government, assist the government to do the developing layout of this field, establish and carry out the principles and rules for the whole field, gather and deal with the financial statistic and the commodity data of the whole field. Collect and deal with the market, economy, technology and products information, serve the members such as supplying all kinds of information, consultation and so on, sponsor the international agricultural machinery exhibitions and organize the member to attend the international exhibitions, academic seminars, economic trade fairs and international cooperation.

The exhibitions and exchange activities that organized by CAMDA

    CAMDA has good relationship with the Embassies in China, foreign companies’ office in Beijing and joint venture companies, CAMDA has organized 30 delegations to visit in Japan, Korea, Vietnam, USA, Italy, Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain and others, the total people of the delegations are more than 450, they all did well market investigation, technology exchange, business cooperation and got to be trained in the above countries.Since 1991 when CAMDA established, CAMDA organized or co-organized over 38 national agricultural machinery exhibitions and international exhibitions, in these exhibitions, there are 23 national agricultural machinery exhibitions, 8 international exhibitions and 7 international exhibition in overseas. In 2000, CAMDA was awarded a certification that can organize exhibitions in China by China Science & Technology Institute.

The national agricultural machinery exhibitions:

    From 1991 to 2001, CAMDA has organized 21 national agricultural machinery exhibitions in Handan, Guilin, Weihai, Zhengzhou, Jinan and Nanjing.
    In September, 1997, CAMDA held National Construction Equipments of Farmland and Water Conservancy Exhibition in Tai’an in Sandong Province.
    In January, 1999, CAMDA cooperated with Ministry of Water Resources of the P. R. China to hold a national exhibition about rebuilt after flood in Wuhan, Hubei Province.

Exhibitions held in overseas:

    In 1992, CAMDA held Chinese International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition in Honduras.
    In 2002, CAMDA held Chinese Agricultural Technology and Machinery Exhibition in Djakarta, Indonesia.
    From 1996 to 2001, CAMDA yearly held Practice Technology Products Exhibition 6 times in Netherlands.

International exhibitions in China

    In 1999 and 2001, CAMDA cooperated with Ministry of Water Resources of the P. R. China to hold Beijing International Water and Resources Exhibition.
    From 1997 to 2001, CAMDA yearly held China International Agricultural Machinery Trade Fair 5 times together with Technology Clearinghouse of china and other units. China International Agricultural Machinery Trade Fair is becoming the biggest agricultural exhibition in China and in Asia.
