第一拖拉机股份有限公司前身第一拖拉机制造厂，创建于 1955年，是我国“一五”期间兴建的156个国家重点项目之一，是中国农机行业唯一的特大型企业，1990年被国务院企业管理委员会评为“国家一级企业”。1997年，中国一拖集团有限公司将与拖拉机相关的业务、资产、负债、人员重组后进行股份制改造，依法设立了第一拖拉机股份有限公司，并在境外发行H股股票，于同年6月23日在香港上市。2012年8月8日，一拖股份在上交所挂牌交易，公司成为中国农机行业唯一一家拥有“AH”股资本平台的上市公司。公司的直接控股公司为中国一拖集团有限公司，最终控股公司为中国机械工业集团有限公司。公司拥有和使用的“东方红”商标被国家工商局评为中国驰名商标，是我国农机行业第一枚驰名商标。公司荣获国家质量管理先进企业，已通过质量管理体系ISO9001、环境管理体系ISO14001、职业健康安全管理体系OHSAS18001等体系认证，公司荣获2012年河南省省长质量奖。截止2012年末，公司资产总额107.3亿元，在职员工1.22万人，其中管理及专业技术人员3200余人。

First Tractor Co. Ltd., formerly known as the First Tractor Works of China, founded in 1955, is one of the 156 key construction projects in the First Five-Year Plan of China and the only ultra-large agricultural machinery enterprise of China. It was approved as the “Level A Enterprise of the State” by the Enterprise Administration Committee of the State Council in 1990. In 1997, YTO Group Corporation established the First Tractor Co. Ltd. after legitimately restructuring the business segments, assets, liabilities and personnel related to tractor business, and issued H- share beyond Mainland China and H-share was listed in Hongkong Stock Exchange on 23rd June, 1990. The A-share of the First Tractor Co. Ltd. was listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange on 8th Aug. 2012, and it becomes the only exclusive agricultural machinery stock listed company with A and H-share capital platforms. The holding company of the First Tractor Co. Ltd is YTO Group Corporation, whose parent company is China National Machinery Industry Corporation SINOMACH. The trademark of “DFH” in China market or YTO brand in the world, China Top Brand as approved by SAIC State Administration for Industry Commerce of the Peoples’ Republic of China, is the first well-known brand in China farm machinery industry. The company has been awarded as the Advanced enterprise for quality management in China, and has passed quality management system ISO9001, Environmental Management System ISO14001, Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS18001 and etc, and obtained Henan Provincial Governor Quality Award in 2012.
